I LOVE SHUFFLES

CHORUS
I love shuffles and I love swing
I love the way Roy Nichols made that Tele Sing

I love to see them cowgirls parading across the old dance floor
I love twin fiddles and steel guitars, who could ask for more

Country shuffles were the Bakersfield craze, I heard Merle Haggard say

Keeping that dance floor full is how earned your pay
Partly swing and partly Hank, with a walking bass guitar

A five piece band, a chicken wire fence long necks at the bar

I love shuffles and I love swing
I love the way Don Rich made that Tele Ring

I love to see them two-step across the old dance floor
I love An upright bass and an old piano, who could ask for more

Down in Texas and Oklahoma, they love that Western Swing

And everybody knows Bob Wills, Is Still The King
The Texas Playboys were America’s number one dance band
As Nashville turned up their nose and here we go again

I Love shuffles and I love swing
I love the way Redd Voekart can make a Telecaster Ring
I love to see them old folks still waltzing across the floor

When they play a Bob Wills song, who could ask for more
