 We’re just whores of the system, we do an act for a fee
Like the ladies of the night, who won’t do it for free
We got our double standard, of what is right or wrong
We’re whores just the same, but we keep our clothes on

World’s oldest profession, down through centuries of time
They’ve been stoned and arrested for this sinful crime
But millions of people, go to work every day
They hate the acts they have to do, to earn their pay

We’ll cheat and lie to each other just to get a break
But the saddest part of it all, is that we don’t even see
